Japanese Tutoring

      I’ll be at the libraries below, by appointment. I’ve included my general availability (keep on top of the schedule and get the exact times here). The $12 convenience fee is waived if you schedule a tutoring lesson at one of these locations on the day I’m there.

      Lincoln Park （THURS free before 3:15PM or after 7PM）

      Blackstone （TUES free after 12:30PM and before 5PM）

      Oriole Park / Austin-Irving （ANY DAY/TIME, no $12 convenience charge, if scheduled at least 3 hours before the lesson and I’m free）Not available for 15- and 30-minute lessons.

      If you want to meet at a different public location or on a day other than what’s listed at one of the first 5 libraries above, choose Location option 3 Public spot from the dropdown and please either state where in the checkout notes or email me after you purchase lessons. Description

After you purchase some lessons, you’ll receive an email asking you to fill out this booking request form so I have info on your Japanese goals and ability.

If we’re already connected through email and we’ve talked about what you want to get out of your tutoring lessons, you can continue emailing me and just send me dates and times you’re free.

Here is my Availability Calendar so you can narrow down the dates. It shows when I’m already booked. Note that my Availability Calendar reflects only confirmed events and appointments. Other students may have already booked a slot or have a standing reservation by the time you make a request so it’s possible we’ll have to try different dates or times but I’ll do my best to fit everyone in.

Format

You can choose the schedule that works best for you.
Pricing

$10 for 15 minutes.
$20 for 30 minutes.
$30 for 45 minutes.
$40 for 60 minutes.
$60 for 90 minutes.

Add 25% of the listed price for each additional person.

Add $3 a lesson for in-person lessons.

Add $15 a lesson if you have your own preferred public location within 15 miles of Harlem Irving Plaza or wish to meet at one of the libraries listed on a different day.

If lesson is booked for in person but ends up being online, this fee will be returned to you in Sambucks.
