How this works
- Buy the right package for what you want reviewed
- Get a link to a form where you can submit your documents, audio or videos.
- Submit the things you want checked (along with the original assignment if it’s not something I gave you).
- Receive feedback in 7 – 30 days.
- Address the issues mentioned in the feedback and resubmit up to 4 times.
Optimize value by addressing all the feedback before submitting a revision.
TERMS
The Review
You’ll be sent a link to a form where you can submit your materials. Short paragraphs can be copy and pasted into the textbox of the form. Files will not be accepted through email, your own upload service or chat.
Each document or media asset counts as one item for review as long as it stays within these sizes:
- Every 400 characters or letters in a text document is considered a new document. So, if you submit a 600-character PDF page, it will be treated as 2 items.
- Every 15 minutes of audio / video is considered a new media file. So if you submit a 90-minute video, it will be treated as 6 items.
If the package you buy doesn’t cover all your items, the review will start from the beginning of the file and stop at the cut-off for however many items you have paid for in the package unless you specify what you section you want checked when you submit your files.
Each item is allowed 4 revisions. Leftover revisions from one item cannot be assigned to a different item.
If you change whole swatches of text, video or audio (35% or more of the characters or length of the running time), that revision will be considered a new item.
Submitted items will be reviewed and returned to you within 7 – 30 days, depending on how long the queue is when you submit. For an additional fee per item, you can jump to the top of the queue.
Occasionally you may find typos in your work and want to submit an updated version. You’re welcome to do this until I start reviewing an item, at which point what I’m looking at will be the ‘latest version’ even if a newer one appears in the queue.
However, if you are finding typos, please thoroughly check your items and then submit an item you’re confident (as you can be) in instead of submitting an updated one every time you find a typo. If you spam the submission queue with tons of submissions of almost identical files, you will use up part or all of your package having me clean up the queue. I also reserve the right to refuse service now and in the future and you will not receive a refund.
Video feedback
Along with the review, you’ll get a quick video walking through the feedback I have for you.
Any written feedback on the items usually points out only what to check and doesn’t tell you exactly what to do so you can learn from your mistakes. The video feedback explains in more detail; so, it’s more like an answer key.
